Wellness Earth Energy Dispensary (WEED) deserves applause not only because we
like their name, but also because they have an exceptional selection. Located
on Ventura Blvd. near Laurel Canyon and the Ventura 101 in a charming little part
of Studio City, this place can be tricky to find. The discrete entrance and parking
lot are behind the building. This can come in handy for people who do not wish
to be seen in public walking into a dispensary. There are a few steps in front
of the door, so I wouldn’t recommend bringing a wheel chair. The waiting room
had plenty of chairs to sit in while you fill out paperwork and wait to be verified.
The medication room here isn’t very large and doesn’t have all of the bells and
whistles. What it does have is a huge selection and quasi-compassionate pricing.
These guys have over 31 strains on stock and an easy to follow color-coding system
that separates them into groups based on pricing and classification: sativa, indica,
or hyrbrid. The display cases here contain some awesome earwax, hash, kief, and
a variety of edibles from Buds Bakery, BBAM, and Nice Creams. They have all sorts
of smoking accessories, a variety of prerolled clear paper joints, and they even
had mmj humus. We tried some of their stellar King Kush and Trainwreck. This place
definitely has some of the best/freshest strains I’ve seen in a while.
WEED takes pride in the quality of their medication, and after judging their selection
it definitely shows. The staff here is extremely compassionate and very knowledgeable.
They want to make sure every patient leaves with a smile. Don't forget to ask
about the weekly raffle. If you visit and tell them you read their review on Weed
Connection I’m sure you will leave with a grin of content.
