Alternative Medicine Group is Located in a nice part of Studio City on Ventura Blvd close to Vineland and next door to the trendy café, Vivian’s. There is metered parking out front and if you can’t find a spot it is cool to park in the Ralph’s lot. The reception area is standard and we were verified by the compassionate staff and on our way into the medication room in no time.
The medication room here is pretty big and very colorful. Each wall is painted a different color and blackboards list the menus. There are four large display cases divided into sativa and indica dominant strains. Grams here range from $15-20 and 8ths are $55-70. There was a variety of Kush and most of the strains here were pretty heady. There was also some kief, hash, and pre-rolled cones.
The guys at AMG have been in the business for a while and they know their meds. They are committed to making a difference and are not in it for profit. These guys have a raffle where the winner gets their rent paid for a month… a pretty sweet deal if you ask me since the raffle tickets are never thown out.
